Pan fried Kohlrabi
Pan-fried Kohlrabi
Ingredients
2 Kohlrabi
1 Med Onion
Butter
1 tb Chopped fresh Marjoram or Basil
Method
Peel trim and grate the kohlrabi, sprinkle with salt and allow to sit in a colander for 30 minutes (squeeze out the excess water) Melt butter in a saute pan, brown onions then add kohlrabi. Turn heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes in a covered saucepan. Uncover and turn up the heat to medium and cook for a further 2 minutes.
Add fresh herbs and season to taste.
